The Art of Kintsugi

Welcome to the Art of Kintsugi! Kintsugi is more than art it is a metaphor for healing ourselves.

During this workshop you will learn the history of Kintsugi and the original Japanese technique of repairing a broken vessel with gold. You will break your bowls and learn the Gold Relief Technique to repair the bowl. During the workshop I will share the deeper concepts of Kintsugi. This experience is intended to help you more deeply connect and value the damaged bits of ourselves; as they demonstrate fortitude, wisdom, and resilience, earned through the passage of time.

After the workshop a certified Meditation Trainer will take you through a calming guided meditation. During your visit you will have access to the grounds. The space is meant for a curious mind, reflection and mindful healing of the soul.

All material will be provided in the workshop. A variety of complementary water, light snacks, and monogram pencil are also offered.
